It was a gloomy and beautiful day. I and my brother were playing cricket in our courtyard.
I was 12 years old and my brother was about 9,1/2 years.
My brother is still fond of cricket and now-a-days, he is a good all rounder in this game. We are best friends also, so we enjoy each and every moment which we spend with each other.
We were very happy at that time also.
There was a sparrow in our courtyard, feeding its young infant.
My brother played a boll and the boll hit that young bird. It died on the spot.
We were interested in birds so much, as usually children are. So this was A tragic incident for us that a young bird died by our own hands. We were standing there and couldn’t do any thing to help the young one.
At that time, mother sparrow came. When it saw its child motionless, it started to make even a single move in its child.
She brought some water from the pail and drop it on the beak of its young, and she did this for three or four times. Then it started to agitate the young one, and for many times she did this. But how could it moved,it was dead.
Mother sparrow tried its level best but all in vain.
When it got confirmed that the young one is dead, sparrow stayed there for about half a minute, she make noise for its child and then flew away.
We were standing there, watching eash and every action of the mother sparrow with restlessness.
We thought that we are the reason of that incident, and actually we were.
But we left to play cricket for the next couple of days, and then forgot this incident.
Last night, I felt the pain of departure of that Young bird.
I don’t know why, but I wept bitterly for that incident. I felt the actual pain of this departure after 12 years and it seemed to be happened just a few days ago.
When we are alone, and broken by heart, then each and every bad moment and incident come to our mind to pain us, to mortified our mind, to torture our soul and,,
to injure our heart.
Its how we live our life.
ITS HOW LIFE LIVE US.
